The India Simulator...

In today‘s India and Germany, people speak English, wear suits and use PowerPoint. But under the globally standardized surface, misunderstandings and intercultural traps lie waiting around every street corner. What skills do German managers need in order to properly work in Bombay or Delhi? Flinntheater asked four Indian authors to answer this question for India Simulator™. They developed role-playing games and various trials that German would-be travellers have to pass like a Mercedes car in a wind tunnel. Long small talk sessions or the art of “breathing correctly” are just some of the simpler tasks that India aspirants must fulfil. What is this highly acclaimed intercultural competency that everyone is asking for? What do we Germans need to learn from an Indian perspective? And what prejudices do Indians have against Germans?

India Simulator™ is a Masala of theatre, performance and music, a hard-core meditation on German-Indian clichés and a utopian assessment centre in the near future, when India and China take over the world economy.
