Theatre Workshops For Kids...

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE HELD ON 3^rd SATURDAY OF EVERY MONTH 10.00 AM TO 2.00 PM AT NCPA.

July 17: Monsoon Masti - A treat for water lovers! Welcome the monsoon with loads of Wacky water games, theatre improvisations, and lots of fun with water! Come prepared to get wet!!

August 21: Puppet Shuppet - Kids make their own puppets, invent crazy characters and use them to weave fascinating tales!

September 18: Think With Ink! - Have something to say? Don’t know how to say it? Learn how to write! Creative writing, stories, poems, and much, much more! Beginners welcome!

October 16: Out Of The Box - Children learn about the Navrasas as they make and decorate their own boxes and then learn to think out of the box!

December 18: Bugs Or Beetles - A biomimicry workshop wherein kids learn from Nature’s organisms how we can be better citizens on Earth

January 15: Theatre Of The Jungle - What if animals were to take over the world? Children paint their own masks, dress up like animals and act like them too in their bid to save their jungles from demolition…

February 19: Snow White & Other Princesses - In the season of love, a workshop for young girls who always wanted to be fairytale princesses – where they get to dress up and play the part!

March 19: Beyond Bombay Boundaries - A fun weekend workshop on travel, living and culture introducing kids to art, music, languages and traditions from various cultures – both ancient and contemporary – both within India and beyond.

April 16: Rhyme Time! - kids learn how to write and perform limericks, nonsense rhymes and other forms of comic verse!

May 16-20: 5 Senses, 5 Elements - a 5-day workshop to sensitize children to the world in which they live.

May 23-27: Preserving My Planet - a 5-day theatre workshop for environment-lovers at the end of which the kids put up a short skit!

June 18: Little Leaders - A theatre-come-philosophy workshop to teach children how to be good leaders as they enact the stories of Ram, Jesus, Moses, Prophet Mohammed, Gautam Buddha, Mahavir and other leaders who changed the world.
